Dr. Loi Q.Ta

Dr. Loi Ta believes that dentistry is a beautiful fusion of science and art. His passion for the field began during his junior year of college, setting him on a path marked by dedication, compassion, and lifelong learning. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Memphis and spent a transformative year studying abroad in Shanghai, China, followed by an internship at the VA in Washington, D.C. In 2018, he completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry.

During dental school, Dr. Ta distinguished himself through his research on oral cancer, presenting his findings at respected forums including the Hinman Student Research Symposium in Memphis, UT Health San Antonio School of Dentistry, and the American Association for Dental Research in Los Angeles. A mission trip to Ecuador also deepened his love for patient care and reinforced his belief in the importance of global outreach and empathy.

Dr. Ta is committed to continual growth in his field. He completes extensive continuing education each year—amassing over 1,700 CE hours in areas such as IV sedation, wisdom teeth extraction, complex implant surgery, endodontics, esthetics, orthodontics, tissue regeneration, full-mouth rehabilitation, botox and dermal fillers, and digital dentistry. This far exceeds the standard 24 hours required biannually for licensure, equipping him with a broad, unbiased perspective for comprehensive patient care.

Known for his warm demeanor and deep sense of respect, Dr. Ta treats every patient as if they were family. He takes time to genuinely connect with people, learning about their lives and making sure they feel heard and valued. His kindness extends to his team as well, who describe him as a humble, generous leader who consistently prioritizes their well-being—both physical and mental.

Dr. Ta’s compassion reaches into the broader community through acts of service, volunteerism, and quiet generosity to those in need. He also values clear communication and inclusivity, which has led him to study multiple languages. He is fluent in Vietnamese, Chinese, and English, and works with team members who speak Spanish to ensure that all patients feel welcomed and understood.

Outside the dental office, Dr. Ta enjoys calisthenics to keep his mind and body strong. He loves exploring new places with his wife and finds peace reading a good book over a fresh cup of coffee at a local café.
